About Me

Rhianna Brown is a multimedia journalist who enjoys traveling and exploring new places. Some of her favorite places to be are local cafes, art communities, and farmers markets. Since she was young, her curiosity about life has been her biggest driving factor in journalism.

A recent graduate from the University of Missouri, Rhianna has a Bachelor's in Journalism, with an emphasis on photojournalism and documentary film, and a minor in Korean Studies. She has previously worked as a staff photographer with the Columbia Missourian and her work includes reporting on local businesses, community events, and some sports coverage.

Furthermore, Rhianna volunteered to be a Social Media Coordinator for the 78th year of College Photographer of the Year. She helped create social media guidelines, designed graphics, and trained other volunteers for the competition.

Her passion lies in social documentary photojournalism, hoping to photograph all forms of livelihoods in different communities worldwide. She is open to freelance work and is looking for employment in the Chicago Metropolitan Area.
